Arrival Time Calculator
Enter start hours and minutes plus duration hours and minutes to see arrival time.
What time will I arrive?
Arrival time is start clock time plus duration, wrapped on a 24-hour clock. Enter start hour and minute with duration hours and minutes; the tool totals minutes, mods by 24 hours, and flags overnight trips when the sum crosses midnight (including multi-day durations). Use it for trains, drives, roast timers or “when should I leave” planning when you already know how long the journey takes. It is local arithmetic only — no time zone conversion — so keep both times in the same clock. For decimal timesheet hours use decimal hours; for meeting windows across regions use time zone overlap.
Worked example
Start 14:30 + 2 h 45 m → 17:15 same day. Start 22:15 + 3 h → 01:15 with overnight +1 day.
Limits and assumptions
Does not apply time zones or DST. Seconds are ignored. Hours may exceed 23 for long durations — overnight count absorbs full days.
Frequently asked questions
Can duration be more than 24 hours?
Yes — the overnight counter increases by whole days crossed.
Do I use 24-hour start times only?
Enter 0–23 for the hour field (e.g. 18 for 6 pm).
What about stops and buffers?
Fold breaks into the duration, or run the calculator twice for legs.
Leap seconds / calendar dates?
Clock-only — pick the calendar date yourself when overnight is Yes.
