Time & General
What Time Was X Hours Ago
Enter hours ago and either use now or a custom start hour/minute.
What time was it X hours ago?
“What time was it five hours ago?” is pure clock subtraction. Use the device’s current time, or switch to a custom start hour and minute, then subtract hours and optional extra minutes. Results wrap within a 24-hour clock and report how many calendar days back you crossed when the subtraction passes midnight. Handy for logs, sleep schedules and “when did that alert fire?” without opening a full calendar app. Add durations instead with add time; for date-level offsets use date minus days.
Worked example
From 14:00, 5 hours ago → 09:00 same day. From 02:00, 5 hours ago → 21:00 previous day.
Limits and assumptions
Local face clock only. Does not apply DST transitions or zone names.
